Over the next few weeks on the Sign Blog let’s talk about how one might choose a sign supplier. As initial conversation starters, I’m focusing on 5 important considerations to help separate the wheat from the chaff: Reputation, Design, Capability, Price and Service.
Firstly, REPUTATION:
I moved to Perth WA from a town called Bournemouth in the UK, where my wife and I had a favourite restaurant. The service was good and the steaks were outstanding. As a result, I became almost evangelical about the restaurant. Whenever the topic ‘where’s a good place to eat?’ came up, I would pipe up with the name of our favourite restaurant and the reasons why any other choice would be foolhardy!
A company’s reputation is therefore of critical importance – and no less so when choosing a sign supplier. Does the sign supplier you’re considering have a reputation among your friends, colleagues and peers for good service and quality products? Can the sign supplier back up its reputation with testimonials from satisfied clients?
How important is a sign supplier’s reputation to you? Does it matter? Why or why not?
Let’s talk.
(Oh, and please share the Sign Blog so others can join the conversation. Thanks!)
