SHAVE DAY: Tuesday 24th September –4pm!
Thanks to amazing support from colleagues, friends, family and work supporters, Signs & Lines Directors, Josie & Mark, will undergo a major chop for charity in under 2 weeks time!
WHAT CHARITY? Plan’s ‘Because I’m a Girl’ Campaign. One in every three girls around the world is denied an education. Every day, young girls are taken out of school, forced into marriage and subjected to emotional, physical and psychological abuse. For more information: http://www.becauseiamagirl.com.au/.
WHY A HEAD SHAVE? Josie says “For me the shave is personally very confronting and stretches my limits in terms of what it means to be a girl, albeit an older one!” Mark is coming along for the ride!
FUNDRAISING TARGET? Well, it was $1000 but due to some amazingly generous people that target has been busted! It''s now $2000 and we're very close!

WHAT ELSE IS HAPPENING? The head shaves are just a small part of a total fundraising target of $4000. In November Josie is hosting a Quiz Night (more on that to follow). Ultimately, Josie has signed up to bike ride 400kms through Vietnam and Cambodia in Feb 2014 and will be visiting a community in Cambodia that is directly benefiting from the funds.
