fab3D, the 'trade only' fabricated lettering and logo company, is only a few weeks away from launch. I had the pleasure of witnessing the 'first fruits' of the 3D letter making equipment this week, and the laser welding 'gun' conjured up images of James Bond being strapped to a moving conveyor belt...

Safety matters - alot - so this month we're putting the spotlight squarely on SAFETY and have registered our activities with Worksafe's "Safe Work October" which is part of a national initiative to raise awareness.

Signs & Lines have already held a number of initiatives during the month, starting off with a real focus on Dial Before You Dig for our staff commissioning work, and those out and about installing signs. 

• Dial Before You Dig Presentation:- guest speaker education sessions for staff - Thursday 3rd October. We  were lucky enough to have Kim Rushton from Dial Before you Dig give 2 presentations - 21 people in total attended the sessions to bring us all up to speed on the important principles of 1100.
• Safety Month celebratory BBQ: - Friday 4th October
• Attending the Worksafe safety and health workshops: - various dates
• Free Healthy Fruit Options: for morning tea - all month

The Safety Team of Josie, Tull, Matt, Daniel and Rachel may have a few other surprises up their sleeve too!
