S&L Master Chef Comes to Town

Recognising we have a few budding chefs in our midst, today we had our inaugural “S&L MASTER CHEF” and this month's theme was Soup.

Five soups fought it out during a needle contest in the lunchroom, with over a dozen tasters from across the business scoring their favourite for taste, texture and wow factor!  With proper scoring forms and ballot box, there was much tension in the air amongst competing wannabbbee-chefs.  It was a very close call between first and second, but in the end Robyn nudged out Paul to take the victory with an amazing 'Nanna's Chicken & Vegetable' recipe (see pic above).

Robyn now gets to choose the next month's theme and has her name on the board for the overall annual title (prize yet to be decided). She also gets to choose the theme for our next cook-off (she's currently talking about a fish dish - but you have to catch the fish you cook!!!). Thankfully sense has prevailed and the confirmed dish will be THAI – so watch out for the next "S&L MASTER CHEF" instalment in early August.

These eye catching digital and static signs are displayed on the M6 southbound carriageway near Birmingham, UK.

Unmissable at 80mph and really high quality. Just thought I'd share! I wonder how long it will be until our Australian Freeways are similarly adorned?!

Downloadable Case Study: Virgin Pier's digital signage packs a punch

This digital sign in Perth's international terminal looks great, but it really wows when you get an idea of it's scale. At over 7 metres wide and 9 metres above ground level this sign really packs a punch. Read more about this and other signage we completed at the Virgin Pier in the downloadable Case Study below.

5 ways to choose your Signage supplier

How do you choose a signage supplier?  As an initial stab, I'd say that the following 5 considerations may be on your list: Reputation, Design, Capability, Price and Service.

Let's take REPUTATION:

A company’s reputation is therefore of critical importance – and no less so when choosing a signage supplier.  Does the sign supplier you’re considering have a reputation among your friends, colleagues and peers for good service and quality products?  Can the signage supplier back up its reputation with testimonials from satisfied clients?

How important is a signage supplier’s reputation to you?  Does it matter?  Why or why not?

What do you think?

We know it matters and that's why every project we produce is done to the highest quality and professionalism. We care, and when we get feedback from our valued clients like this below (just received last week), we know that we are building on our reputation as The trusted WA signage provider:

"First of all a huge thank you to you and your staff for the completion of the signage at Joondalup last night. I was on site around 10pm and your guys were working well, returned at 0100am and all the works had been completed ..."
