The feedback we've received so far from Satterley suggests that the technology has already been a huge hit. Which should come as no surprise, since according to ACMA Chairman Chris Chapman, "... Australians seem to be adapting reasonably confidently and relatively seamlessly to an Internet-enabled world."
We were naturally delighted to discover that Perth's Sunday Times on 13 April 2014 ran an article featuring Satterley's touchscreen digital map table at its Heron Park sales office.

![]() Here's the third in our series of touchscreen digital signage Case Studies, this time featuring Satterley's (great looking) touchscreen map table and digital wall display. View it here on the blog as a slideshow, or download the PDF to read at your leisure. Please email [email protected] with any questions or to discuss your own digital signage project. ![]() Duh... when it's a huge video wall, of course! 3M Vikuiti Rear Projection Film (RPF) is (according to the manufacturer's website) a "flexible, self-adhesive film that can be applied to windows or transparent partitions. This film provides crisp, brilliant images in high ambient light areas and from any viewing angle. RPF is easily cut to shape and size, is fast and easy to remove, and can be integrated with other window graphics." Here's a video that'll introduce the product far better than my words can (and just wait until you hear the accompanying soundtrack... wink)... OK, so why am I drawing your attention to this great product? Well, let's be honest, it's for commercial reasons (but, heck, who'd want to hear about a product and not know where to get it from, right?!). Signs & Lines' digital division, S&L Digital Signage, has introduced the product alongside it's already-popular range of touchscreen digital signage products. So you can get it from us right here in Perth, Western Australia!
To discuss a possible Vikuiti project, simply drop Tim an email. (blog post written by Darrel Griffin, Business Development Manager, Signs & Lines 0404 083 360) Snack companies are investing huge sums of money in touchscreen digital vending technologies. The Diji-Touch, for example, displays high definition motion graphics and 3D views of the products' packaging.
Apparently the technology encourages an average 'dwell time' in excess of six minutes - though if you were waiting in the queue to get your chocolate fix would you be delighted with a six minute wait?! I can only assume that data capture has more value to the snack companies than actually selling the $1 snacks themselves? Or am I missing something? If I am, please enlighten me with a comment below!
